"April 20th I placed an order (order…"
April 20th I placed an order (order 2287) and recieved 3 of the 7 items. One was taken off my order because they didn't have it in stock. The other two have not shipped and looks like they never will as the items say processing. My card has not been credited for the items I did not receive. I've emailed 5 times and have not received a response other than "rate your customer satisfaction". I've reported this company to the BBB

"Impossible to get customer service. Would not send the rest of my order."
I ordered about 17 items. After a few emails asking for the status, they sent about 10 of the items. I continued to email asking them to cancel the remaining items and refund the remaining balance with absolutely NO response. I sent a final email explaining my next move of contacting my CC company to open a dispute and also the BBB and again NO response. Thus, I followed through to get my credit on my CC and now alerting others to the issues. I used to like them but something has changed and certainly not for the better. I will not order from them again.

"Nonexistent customer service"
The website does not have a phone number to contact customer service AND the link to email them does not work. I've independently emailed them and have not heard back 4 weeks later. It is very disappointing that there is NO VIABLE way to get in touch with customer service. I would think twice before doing business with them going forward, until they fix their customer service issues.

"Do not send your clothing in to sell with this company"
When they changed to a new platform all my information/history disappeared. All my items listed for sale have disappeared. I managed to find one of my items and it had sold. I was never notified or given my % of the sale. It’s like they stole money from me. I’ve tried to contact them by e-mail but no one ever responds. I even filed a complaint with the BBB.

I made an order from this website earlier this year and it went pretty good. This is an online "thrift store". I made 2 more orders a couple of months ago and got a confirmation and than nothing! I have e mailed them several times and left several messages and get a standard automatic response. The reply states they have a high number of tickets and will respond to me in 24 hours. I have heard nothing! This is a scam site. They take your money and you don't get what you order. Two of the products I ordered are still listed for sale!

I have 2 different orders that I was charged FULL price for and didn't receive the full orders on BOTH! I have sent 3 emails to Swap.com with only saying they have received my email but no other reply. Please help!

"Terrible new platform"
I used to sing the praises of Swap.com. I told friends and strangers what a great site Swap was. "Great clothes. Great deals." Then Swap had to change platforms to make my shopping experience "more enjoyable." Swap missed that mark by a long shot. Filtering items is not as precise as it used to be. With the new platform, we cannot filter by material type. I am allergic to a lot of synthetic fibers. I am no longer able to specify wool, cotton, silk... in my searches for items. Which means that I am wasting a lot of time looking at clothes that I cannot purchase and wear.

Since the platform change, I have placed 2 orders. The first order was supposed to have two pairs of gray pants. When I got the order, one pair was jet black and the other was navy blue. These were "final sale" items, which means I cannot return them. So now I am stuck with 2 pair of pants that I would not have ordered if the color had been correctly labelled. The pictured items were gray in color. Yet I got black and navy blue -- which are not my colors. What happened to the gray pants?!

The second order I placed had two items missing. Yet my credit card has been charged for the total order of 3 items plus shipping. I have emailed customer service but I have not gotten a reply. Before the platform change, customer service replied to emails. Not anymore.

I honestly cannot recommend Swap with the high praise that I used to. It's sad because Swap used to be a great second hand clothing site. I guess I will have to try my luck with ThredUp. Their prices are not as good as Swap's prices but perhaps I will actually receive the items I ordered and was charged for.

"Not sure what happened to Swap"
I have been ordering from Swap for years. I've spent thousands on the website. Years ago, orders were shipped fast (in less than 5 days), and quality control was mostly good. A few years ago something changed (this was pre-Covid). Orders taking weeks to ship out, missing items, half of entire orders being damaged. I still continued ordering, but took advantage of their return policy for items that were not as described. I also noticed that customer service would take days to get back to you.

Beginning of April 2023, Swap transitioned to a new website with no notice to customers. The old website was removed without any communication. Everyone's order history, favorites, site credits, everything - gone. They didn't bother to announce this to anyone. They simply released the new website and said 'make a new account, everything on the old site is gone though, sorry.' This website was a horrible rollout. Half the items don't have photos, I have to skim through pages of 'sold' items, etc. What was also annoying was the fact that I had placed an order on the old website, and when the new one was released, I saw the items I had purchased listed for sale again. Again, this was with no communication to me on what would happen to my old order (that I can no longer access because the old website was deleted).

Despite this horribly unprofessional rollout of a broken site, against my better judgement, I used a welcome code to place a new order. Since then, I've been waiting a month for my order. I've been waiting 3 weeks for an email response to a simple inquiry about my order. I randomly received my order from the old website (a month later!) with no communication. I have since reached out to Swap on social media about the slow ship times and slow customer service and they simply responded that it takes time to pack orders. If it takes 30 days to pack orders, say so on your website, and stop running sales since you cannot handle the order volume.

I still have not received any response to my customer service email inquiries. They are having widespread issues shipping and providing customer service, yet they won't even send a mass communication explaining the issues. They just keep stringing people along, keeping their money, and giving them silence in return.

I would recommend everyone stay away from Swap.com. They are unresponsive, uncommunicative, and unable to ship orders in an acceptable time frame. Your only hope will be an eventual chargeback.

"Terrible Experience, Used to be Good"
Which order Order 5999114045-18062219820?You canceled part of it. I returned the shoes- no credit yet.
Or order 5999114045-18101731480? I have never received notice of shipment, let alone the order. I have emailed numerous times and no response. I even called. No response. Contacted BBB, no response. Swap owes me $11.04 for the returned shoes and $14.64 for order ending in 480, never sent.

Never received my last order. Was charged for it ,
Have turned in to my credit card company.
I am so disappointed,SWAP never answered my emails or calls.
This use to be a great company, it was my favorite but no longer.
Customer service is non existent. Proceed at your own risk.

"I was pretty disappointed with this…"
I was pretty disappointed with this shipment. I do try to look at the photos and read the description as best as possible but this shipment did not meet my expectation. I ordered a plain white tee shirt. From the picture, it looked like a regular shirt but when it arrived it turned out to be a white SWIM shirt. I ordered a plain blue tee - what I got was a shirt that had ruffles on the front - which was supposed to be for a boy. Lastly, I ordered an orange shirt, nowhere in the description did it mention that it was faded because the picture depicted it to be bright orange. The rest of the items were fine. I just donated those because I didn't feel like to hassle with returns. I really am hesitant to order again.

Ridiculous fees of inbound shipping, why would you charge shipping to people that are making your business grow? also i haven't heard anyone that had sold items on swap.com to had their entire box accepted, everyone has the same complain about item rejections when the items are in perfectly great condition(even with tags) so that's very frustrating, really. that's another way for swap.com to make money, rejected item is a win for them wether you donate the items to them or pay them shipping to send your items back to you. here is the thing. if this company keeps operating this way, it wont be in business for long. i will post my complain with "better business bureau" what are they doing is fraud.

Hi, from what i gather, i can return any items that do not fit and get a 100% refund and don't have to pay to ship the items back as long as i request the return in 30 days. is this correct? thanks
